Nestled behind Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples Florida, The von Liebig Art Center offers a wide variety of attractions for adults and families. Run by the Naples Art Association, the group aims to educate and promote the visual arts.
The group holds 5 major art festivals in Naples Florida that attract artists from all over the country. All the work is original and hand-crafted. From bronze statues, to ceramic serving pieces, to watercolor paintings, beaded jewelry, and much more, there is something for everyone. In addition, the Naples Art Association also hosts 6 smaller art festivals featuring high quality work from its members.
In the galleries at The von Liebig Art Center, guests will find stunning exhibitions of internally-known artists as well as the works of some of our most talented local artists. From well-known greats such as Picasso and Andy Warhol, to present day Cuban and Cuban-American artists, the exhibitions are always changing and offer something fresh for viewer.
The art center also offers adult art classes and workshops from September through May. Guests to the area may consider taking a one, two or three-day workshop, or sign up for a class extending out over a month’s time period. Class and workshop offerings are taught at all experience levels and include oil and acrylic painting, ceramics, drawing, watercolor, digital photography and more. From June through August in the summer, the art center provides one-week half and full-day art classes for children and teens ages 5-14.
The art center’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. During season, the center is open on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the center’s gallery is free, however, donations are accepted to help offset programming costs. Stop by The von Liebig Art Center at 585 Park Street.
