Princess Diana: Dresses of Inspiration

This professionally-curated exhibition of the "world's most photographed woman," created just for The von Liebig Art Center, honors the historical importance of her journey from royal princess to humanitarian by telling a story through the dresses worn by the late Princess to commemorative, social and charitable functions. A portion of the ticket sales from this exhibition will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Crusade. Location: The von Liebig Art Center;10am-4pm Mon-Sat; 1pm-4pm Sun; 239-262-6517.


Museum of the Everglades - Deborah Mitchell Exhibit

Take a day ride to the Florida Everglades to see "Documenting Contemporary Wetlands," a mixed media exhibit by Deborah Mitchell, a unique artist that employs a rich pallet of the Everglades. Raw images are embellished with nature's beauty. Location: Museum of the Everglades; Hours: Tues-Fri 9am to 5pm; Sat 9am-4pm; Admission: Free, but they appreciate donations; Contact: 239-695-2397.  There will also be an informal artists' talk on Saturday, May 8th at 1:00pm.
