Marc Van Dam, Director of Sales
Marc joined the Hilton Naples Sales Team in 2002, not long after the opening of the hotel. His responsibilities include working with many local and national businesses and corporations, both directly and through Hilton National Sales, to ensure that preferences are accommodated and details are executed. Marc is visible and available, interacting with his accounts frequently.
Prior to his career in the Hospitality Industry, Mr. Van Dam worked for several years in the exciting field of professional sports marketing. During this time he was affiliated with some of the world’s most prestigious sporting events including The Masters, the US Open, and the Super Bowl.
Marc's passion for creating positive relationships is evidenced by his many awards in recognition of his efforts benefiting the community. For example, he received the "Ambassador of the Year" award for 2008 from the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, the 2007 "Tourism Leadership Award" from the area Convention and Visitors Bureau and was "Man of the Year" from the Naples/Ft. Myers branch of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Marc is very active in the community and serves as President of the Collier County Sports Organizing Committee.
Marc says that he feels lucky and privileged to be living in Naples and he will enthusiastically tell you about all the special amenities that Naples offers.
During his free time, Marc enjoys spending time with his four children, walking on the beach, playing tennis, and fishing (although he says this is more fishing than catching!).
